Support needed to help purchase a new bloodmobile

In 15 years, our bloodmobile has traveled over 200,000 miles. Appearing at more than 250 blood drives and transporting up to 6,000 units of blood annually, it is a crucial member of our Red Cross team.

The bloodmobile allows us collect and safely transport blood donations and deliver vital blood and blood products to patients in need. With each unit of blood capable of helping up to three people, the bloodmobile makes it possible to save the lives of nearly 18,000 blood recipients each year.

But the last 15 years have taken their toll. Our bloodmobile breaks down an average of four times a month often forcing us to cancel blood drives and missing opportunities to share the gift of life.

With your generous contributions, you can help us raise the $375,000 needed to purchase a new bloodmobile for your community.

Donating is easy:

Every donation, big or small, gets us that much closer to purchasing a new bloodmobile allowing us to fully support the local blood supply needs for another 15 years.  Please consider giving today.
